artful outfit: dynamism of a dog on a leash
Futurism may not be a well known art form but it's very interesting. The art form focused on the study of movement. Speed and motion were key points of the piece created in the period. Giacomo Balla's Dynamism of a Dog on a Leash is a great example of Futurism and is my outfit inspiration today.

artful outfit: starry night.
I think everyone, and I mean everyone, knows Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night. It's an iconic piece of Art History. For me it was the first pieces of art I was ever really introduced too. It's always had a very special place in my heart.

artful outfit: woman with a hat
I’ve decided that outfit posts are just not for me. At least until I get a more interesting wardrobe. I would like to share my slightly different taste on fashion though. I decided to start “Artful Outfits.” I am going to pick a piece of art that I love and created an outfit inspired by it. I love art history so a lot of the works may be historically interesting, at least to me. The first work is one of my favorites and why I fell in love with Henri Matisse.

So, honestly, what do you think? Do you like the outfit idea? Should I keep the series going? Leave a comment and let me know.
Have a great weekend!
